    Prof. Ali Khademhosseini appointed as a fellow of NANOSMAT

    We would like to congratulate Prof. Ali Khademhosseini on his recent appointment as a fellow of the NANOSMAT Society – the highest ranking that this organization confers.     Dr. Ali Khademhosseini appointed as a Fellow within the Royal Society of Chemistry

    The Royal Society of Chemistry was established in 1841, when a group of 77 people (including doctors, academics, manufacturers and entrepreneurs) formed the Chemical Society of London, with dialysis inventor Thomas Graham as their first president. To this day, the number has grown to include 51,000 members and continues to support and unite chemical scientists together from all over the world. Dr. Ali Khademhosseini, the director of BIRC, has recently been appointed as a Fellow within the Royal Society of Chemistry- the highest distinction available. We would like to congratulate Dr. Ali Khademhosseini for this great achievement and distinction.

    Prof. Ali Khademhosseini wins Kavli Early Career Award in Nanoscience

    This honor recognizes significant novel contributions to materials science by a young researcher in early stages of his/her career. We would like to congratulate Prof. Ali Khademhosseini on receiving this award at the 2015 Materials Research Society Fall Meeting & Exhibit. Prof. Khademhosseini has been on the forefront in the field of nano- and microscale tissue engineering. He has utilized the advances in nanotechnology and nanoengineering and created cutting edge solutions in the field of regenerative medicine and tissue engineering.
